Privacy Policy

This policy was rewritten in August 2026 to describe what this site actually does. It replaces text inherited from an earlier version of this website which described practices — account opening, identity verification, custody of funds — that RoboTrader does not carry out. It is pending review by counsel. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will answer plainly.
1. What this site is
robotrader.io is an informational website. There are no user accounts, no logins, no payments, and no mobile application. RoboTrader is not a broker-dealer, does not hold customer funds or securities, and does not offer accounts to the public through this site.
2. What we collect
What you send us. If you submit the quote request form or the report request form, we receive what you type into it. For the quote form that is: your name, role, firm, email, phone, website and country; your firm’s size, entity type and jurisdiction; your regulatory standing, registrations and assets-under-management band; your trading profile; and how you heard about us. We do not ask for a tax identification number on this website. If one is ever needed it is requested at contracting, over a channel you choose — never through a web form. Both forms are delivered to us by email, so please do not send anything through them you would not put in an ordinary email.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies and records your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings or an ad blocker, and the site works normally without it.
Server logs. Our web server records requests in the ordinary way, including IP address, timestamp and the page requested.
3. What we do NOT collect
Through this website we do not collect biometric identifiers, government-issued identification documents, photographs of you, social security or national insurance numbers, bank account or payment card details, precise location, or the contacts or photos on your device. We do not ask you to verify your identity with a selfie. We do not link financial accounts.
4. How we use it
We use what you send us to assess whether a licensing or investor discussion makes sense, and to reply to you. We use analytics and logs to understand which pages are useful and to keep the site running and secure. We do not use any of it to build advertising profiles.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Your form submission reaches our email provider in the course of being delivered to us, and analytics data is processed by Google under their privacy policy. We will disclose information if we are legally required to.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as the enquiry is relevant to us, and analytics for the retention period configured in Google Analytics. Ask us to delete your enquiry and we will.
7. Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email contact@robotrader.io. There is no account to log into, so this is the way to reach us. You can refuse analytics cookies in your browser at any time.
8. Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
